1. Job Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and closing construction projects, ensuring delivery within defined scope, time, cost, and quality standards while meeting stakeholder expectations and contractual obligations.
2. Duties and Responsibilities
• Prepare and implement the approved project execution plan in alignment with company objectives and contract requirements.
• Manage project resources, budgets, and expenses to ensure completion within approved cost and time limits.
• Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in coordination with all stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
• Lead project teams including internal staff, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Monitor project progress, milestones, and performance against baseline plans.
• Manage project scope and ensure all changes are properly documented, evaluated, and approved through formal change order procedures.
• Oversee subcontractors’ performance to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Review and approve subcontractor and supplier invoices and manage monthly client payment applications.
• Prepare and submit monthly progress reports, cost reports, and updated project schedules.
• Conduct regular coordination meetings with site teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Ensure clear communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and project quality plans.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues.
• Oversee contract administration and procurement activities.
• Participate in tender pricing and preparation for new projects.
• Ensure smooth project handover to the client upon completion.
• Manage all project documentation including contracts and deliverables.
• Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned.
3. Job Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
• Experience: 13–15 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
• Software: Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera P6, AutoCAD, MS Office, and familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Candy) is an advantage.
